Members: Registered, No Account, and Unclaimed

What is the difference between profiles that are designated as Registered, No Account, and Unclaimed?

Registered

A member is considered Registered in your organization if they have associated themselves with your organization in one of the following ways:

  1. Signed up for a SecureGive account through your organization's sign-up page.
  2. Signed in to your organization's SecureGive account through your sign-in page.
  3. Completed a transaction to your organization (not as a guest).

No Account

Profiles labeled as "No Account" are informational profiles that have been created in one of two ways:

  1. It was added by an administrator of the organization in the "Members" section and has not been verified or set up on the user end
  2. It was created by a donor giving as a guest using an email that is not currently on file for a member.

Administrators have the ability to edit both "Registered" and "No Account" profiles as long as the member is not registered under multiple organizations using the same profile.

Unclaimed

If the profile is Unclaimed, it means that the profile is registered, but it has not been accessed by the member since our last major update which was approximately 2 years ago.
