How To Calibrate The Touchscreen

If the touchscreen on your Pioneer countertop kiosk isn't properly recognizing finger taps, then follow the steps below to complete a touchscreen calibration. You may have to connect a mouse to the computer to initiate the calibration. 

 

  1. Close the kiosk app. If you don't how to close the kiosk app, then read this Help Center article: Close The Windows Kiosk App
  2. Right-click the eGalaxTouch icon  Screen_Shot_2020-02-11_at_3.19.50_PM.png  at the right of the Taskbar. You can also replicate a right-click with your finger by pressing and holding on the icon.

  3. Choose "4 points calibration" from the pop-up menu.

  4. Touch the touch points.

  5. Then complete a Linearization of the touchscreen by right-clicking the eGalaxTouch icon and choosing "Calibration Utility" from the pop-up menu.

  6. Click "Yes" from the "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device" pop-up.

  7. From the eGalaxTouch: USB Controller window, choose the Tools tab. Then select Linearization.

  8. Touch the touch points.
