1. Power on
Plug the Micro USB power cable into the power port of the router. Make sure you are using a standard 5V/2A power adapter. Otherwise it may cause malfunction.

2. Connect your computer to the router
You can connect your computer to the router via Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi.
Note: This step only connects your personal device to the local area network (LAN) of the router. You will not be able to access the internet yet.
a. Connect via LAN
Connect your device to the LAN port of the router via Ethernet cable.

b. Connect via Wi-Fi
Search for the SSID (name of Wi-Fi network) of the router from your device and input the default password: goodlife.
Note: The SSID was printed on the bottom label of the router with the following formats:
- GL-AR300M-XXX
- GL-AR300M-XXX-NOR
3. Access the web Admin Panel
Open a web browser from your device (we recommend Chrome or firefox) and visit http://192.168.8.1. From there you will be directed to the initial setup of the web Admin Panel.
a. Language Setting
You need to choose the display language of the Admin Panel.

b. Admin Password Setting
There is no default password for this Admin Panel. You have to set your own password which must be at least 5 characters. Then, click Submit to proceed.

You should now have access to the web Admin Panel of the router. This screen allows you to check the status and manage the settings of the router.

4. Connect to the Internet
On the left side of the web Admin Panel select INTERNET.

There are total 4 types of connection methods that you can use to access the Internet: Cable, Repeater, 3G/4G Modem and Tethering. Choose Repeater.

5. Repeater
Using Repeater allows you to connect the router to your existing wireless network. It works in WISP (Wireless Internet Service Provider) mode by default, which means that the router will create its own subnet and act as a firewall between the kiosk and your public network.
From the Repeater section, click Scan to search for your wireless network.

Choose the name of your Wi-Fi network from the drop-down list and enter its password. We recommend that you enable the Remember toggle to save the current chosen wireless network. Finally, click Join.

6. Plug In Card Reader
Now plug in the card reader's Ethernet cable into the LAN port on the router. If you see the word "Connected" appear on the card reader's display, that means it's connected to the internet.
Congratulations. You're done!
