Manage Locations/Campuses

From the Locations page you have the ability to create multiple locations/campuses and edit their details such as active status, display status, name, ID, address, and custom slug.

*Please note that your Location/Campus limit will be listed at the top right of the screen. If you need to increase this, please call our Client Care team at 855-895-8951.

How To Create A New Location

1. Go to Settings > Locations.

2. Click the    Screen_Shot_2019-02-20_at_5.55.18_PM.png   icon on the top right.

3.  Add the Name of the Location first. The Location ID section is used to connect transactions made to a specific location/campus in your donor management system. If you don’t use a donor management software outside of SecureGive, or if yours doesn't require this, you can leave this blank.

4. We will automatically create a custom slug for this location. However, you can change it here if you prefer something different.

5. Enter the address information for the location.

6. If you are ready to activate this campus, make sure the toggle is Enabled. Then you can choose whether the location is displayed along with your others or if users will need the custom slug to access it.

6. Be sure to click Create to Save the Location information.

Please Note: A location will not show up for giving until you go to the Donation or Purchase Categories page and choose to display at least one category for this location.

For instructions on creating and/or displaying donation or purchase categories, then read the help article: Add a Donation/Purchase Category.

To Change the order that your locations are displayed:

When viewing the locations list, you can change the order they are displayed by clicking and holding on the up/down arrows to the right and dragging them into the position you desire.

To Edit a Location:

Simply click on it from the list and you will be able to edit any details including the name and address of the location or the slug. You can also choose whether you want to disable, make it hidden or displayed, or delete it.
