Re-linking Transactions

In SecureGive you can relink a transaction to a donor's profile. This might need to be done if you have a donor who gave as a guest but incorrectly entered their name and email. Also, if a member accidentally made an anonymous transaction, you can relink their transaction to their profile.

  1. Find the transaction that you want to relink in the All Transactions report and click on it anywhere but the Member ID column.

  2. Click the View Details button.

  3. Click the Re-Link Transaction button at the top.

  4. In the Name or Email field, enter the name or email address of the profile that you would like to re-link the transaction to. As you type in the member's name or email, a dropdown will appear below of member matches that you can choose from. You must click on a choice from the dropdown results to relink.

  5. Check the box to confirm that you want re-link this transaction to this member.

  6. Click the Re-Link Transaction button.

Now the transaction has been successfully associated with the member.
